For our school mural we decorated the outside of Mrs. Wells room. Mrs. Wells is the Spanish teacher, therefore, we had a spanish theme to our mural. We traced a flamenco dancer on the side wall of her door. Beneath the dancer, we traced a bull and his matador with a red cloth. Above the door we etched the famous Brazilian "dragon".
We created the flamenco dancer to have a ruffled skirt on her dress. This posed as a smart idea because we used the value principle to do different shades of red throughout the skirt. We had to mix red with white several times to get the correct shades. The bull and matador were simply black and a skin color. The dragon was a mixture of green, yellow, red, purple, and blue. To come up with these designs we compromised with the spanish teacher.
