Like most things, this is all about me...
During these three years of high school in which I have experienced, I have considered myself a caterpillar that is slowly transforming into a butterfly. As cheesy as that may sound, I think it is actually an accurate analogy. I am an active learner during school and I pick up on information and schedules pretty well. There are more things I like about school than I dislike. I like the social aspect and I feel accomplished when I finish a project, assignment, or recieve my desired grade in a class. I do not like the time that we have to be at school each day. Seven thirty is ridiculous. I have had many experiences during my high school year that have shaped who I am today.
My freshman year of high school I was an immature caterpillar. I remember shaking as I was walking into school my first day with Abbie Shinkle. I had already participated in soccer conditioning so I knew a few upperclassmen. My freshman year was pretty easy-going academic and social wise because I played soccer and basketball and also recieved honor roll every trimester.
My sophomore year I was still a caterpillar,
slowly forming my cocoon. I learned a lot of tough lessons during my sophomore year. For instance, I learned to always hold your friends close to your heart because they're there when everyone else leaves. My best friend, Abbie, has been there for me through everything and I don't think I could ever thank her enough for the things she has done for me. Another valuable lesson I learned was to never give up on something you really want, because in the long run, everything is going to work out.
Right now I am ending my junior year of high
school so I am slowly coming out of my cocoon to become a pretty butterfly! This year has been my favorite year so far. For instance, I am an upperclassman and I have had so much fun with my friends so far. I'm excited for the summer and for what my senior year brings.
Of course, there are some general things you should know about me. For example, I am a writer, in case you couldn't tell. I want to become an author or some type of writer. I have a slight obsession for the color yellow. My favorite animal is a seahorse. I am the oldest of four kids in my family. My brother, Matt, is twelve years old, my sister, Carly, is nine, and my youngest sister, Hailey, is seven years old. Hailey was born two months early and she weighed 4.2 pounds. It was very scary because she had to stay in the hospital 25 days after she was born. My parents are Lisa and Jason Hall. Every summer we fly to California to visit family and vacation.
If I could live anywhere I wanted I would live in California and I would have horses and own a ranch. I would live solely with my family because other people annoy me. If I could be anything I wanted I would be a successful author and write about anything I wanted. If I could do anything I wanted, whenever I wanted, I would travel. If I could just pick up all of my things and my family and go to Africa for the week, I totally would.
Five years from now, I am finishing college and hopefully engaged. Twenty years from now I have a house, a job I enjoy, a husband, a seahorse, and two or three kids. Fifty years from now, my kids are moved out and have successful lives and my husband and I are totally cute and traveling the world with all the money we have. :)
